Welcome to Tenkiller Area Community Organization

About Us

How We Got Started:

The Tenkiller Area Community Organization (TACO) was organized in 1975. Its original purpose was to establish a volunteer fire department for Cookson, OK. Once that was complete, TACO took on the roll of Serving the Lake Tenkiller Community. The first Cookson Jubilee was in 1976, it has been held every year since. In 2018, TACO will hold the 43rd Annual Cookson Jubilee on June 8th & 9th.

TACO meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the TACO Building and is open to the Public.

Features & Events:

Zumba is a Latin Exercise Dance Class, it is on Monday's at 5:00pm, Wednesday's 4:30pm and 5:45pm and Saturday's at 10:00am.
